Group Tours
Schedule a tour to learn more about the exhibitions and have a fun, interactive experience! Pfac offers guided tours and special rates for groups of six or more. Tours are led by docents (volunteer educators) and encourage active looking by utilizing questioning strategies, gallery games, writing exercises and touchable materials (depending on the exhibition).
Our docents assist you in looking carefully at works of art and help you figure out what the artist is trying to say. Hands-on art activities are available with advanced notice for both child and adult groups.
To schedule a tour please call the Education Department at (757) 596-8175 at least 3 weeks in advance of the date your group would like to come to the Center.
